My100Zone – Kids Club is a Reggio Emilia Inspired Playgroup in Macau
In our playgroup, we offer to play opportunities to Early Childhood stage. Children will be supported by teachers to play in a safe environment. They learn to be independent, build confidence, create good habits and build positive relationships with teachers and peers. Students learn to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, develop social and emotional skills by playing together. The students develop a sense of aesthetic by playing with art material and exploring diverse sensory experiences. Teachers will use English and Portuguese language as a media to support children learning through a Reggio Emilia approach, Play-based pedagogy, Inquiry-based, Sensory-based, and Wonder approach in an age-appropriate.
My100Zone provide provocations and opportunities for wonder, allowing children to develop in their own pace through play. The environment is the 3rd teacher and teacher as facilitators observing and documenting children play. We will document and share their joyful journey through WeChat to parents.
We had two leading clubs:
1) MY PLAY ZONE CLUB
2) MY BABY ZONE MINI CLUB
In "My Play Zone Club", children play and learn how to problem-solve, develop fine and gross motor skills, critical thinking, develop communication skills and are seeking for new experiments through sensory play, games, art and craft, painting, dancing, music and play. While children play and engage in different activities, teachers lead the play in English and Portuguese.
In "My Baby Zone Mini Club", babies and toddlers will be accompanied by parents to engage and experiment in different sensory experience. Mainly sensory play, music and movement. Also, children will play and enjoy stories and nursery rhymes with parents, peers and teachers.
